The Problem

From Routine Maintenance to Transformation

First teaming up with Integrity in the early 2010s, what began as a simple request for regular website upkeep and minor feature support quickly evolved into a much larger undertaking. Although regular maintenance was done to keep the site running smoothly, over time, it became clear that a visual update on their site was necessary to serve their growing and diverse audience effectively.

They needed more than just support; they needed a complete, fresh redesign of their website’s front end, one that reflected their mission, spoke to the communities they serve, and could support future growth.

“Our website needed a refresh – it had been 8 years! The site is not only more up to date, but the team really got our mission, and captured our brand in the design. It’s not always an easy task to communicate our vibe and we’re thrilled to have a new site that does. As our CEO said upon seeing the first preview, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s us!’”

The Solution

A Multi-Layered Redesign for Accessibility and Engagement

To meet Great Rivers Greenway’s evolving needs, Integrity took a multi-faceted approach to the redesign, adding custom features including an events calendar to highlight upcoming community events and activities across the greenways. And recognizing Great Rivers Greenways’ reach across diverse communities, we added translated versions of the website in five different languages, ensuring accessibility for more users.

All of these features came together through the efforts of a strong UX design that seamlessly integrated a highly functional design with the aesthetic made for park lovers.

The Result: A Modern Website That Brings Communities Together

A modern, user-focused site that reflects the mission and energy of Great Rivers Greenway, helping them connect more people to nature, health, and one another.
